Cooking with Love

Made with Love

Have you ever eaten out and felt angry or sad afterward for no obvious reason?  It is likely that the person who prepared your food was not in a good mood.  Our thoughts and state of mind have a significant effect on our actions.  No one maintains perfectly loving thoughts all the time. We have bad days, frustrating moments, and challenging phases in our lives.  One way to take responsibility for our thoughts no matter what is going on is by repeating a positive affirmation, prayer, or mantra.  Some examples are, “I am fulfilled by everything that I do” or All is well.”  Any thought that helps you feel more peaceful, grateful and loving will do the trick.  Maintaining a positive focus is especially important when we are cooking and caring for our selves and our loved ones.  Love is the magical ingredient that offers more nourishment than we can quantitatively measure.  It even makes food taste better. Try it and see!
